Coming back from 3 nil down in the first half, Tavistock went into the break at 4 - 4 with goals coming from Jimmy Berry, Mark Forshaw x 2, and Nick Andrews. The team responded to a stern half-team talk from Captain Dee Kirwin and proceeded to run riot in the second half by scoring a further five goals with no response coming from Truro. Both Nick Andrews and Mark Forshaw completed their hattricks and Andrews scored a fourth at the end. The final score was 9 - 4 to Tavistock. Nick Andrews scored 4, Mark Forshaw 3, Jimmy Berry 1, and Andy Berry completed the scoring. They go into next week's Derby versus Okehampton with a depleted team due to unavailability and school fixtures but hope they have enough depth to maintain their winning form.
