Ladies 1st XI Vs Plymouth Marjon 2 

Tavistock started strong with their first goal scored early. The daughter - mother combination linked up when Alice Lamb  slipped the ball to Becky Lamb  who sneaked it around the keeper allowing Amy Headon to get a fast finish into the goal.

Marjon came back several times, but the defence held them off. Maddie Jones Tavistocks new goal keeper made many phenomenal dives saving several shots. However, a strike on goal was deflected by Tavistock stick and Marjon scored their equalizing goal.

Laura Armstrong -West and Becky Lamb came straight back onto the attack and Becky Lamb scored Tavistocks second game.

Tavistocks defence worked hard fighting through a succession of short corners. Jenny Lane, Janice Scott, Hannah Nevin and Laura Cowell held out the visitors but unfortunately Marjons scored their second and final goal.

Robynne Fenwick and Amy Headon fought hard in the middle to push the ball back up into Tavistocks attacking half. Tavistock had many attacking short concerns. Alice Lamb was on fire, she unfortunate not to score a couple of amazing drag flicks. 

Thanks to Jamie Bulbrings excellent leading runs Tavistock were awarded another attacking short corner. With powerful accuracy Laura Armstrong- West smashed it into the back of the goal. Tavistock leading 3-2. 

Tavistock remained in possession of play for the rest of the game. Laura Cowell and Hannah Nevin from defense pushed high up the pitch to help maintain the pressure.
